Role : QC Engineer Fabrication (Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers)

Role:

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QC Engineer with robust experience in the fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers. The role requires ensuring compliance with ASME codes, project specifications, and quality standards throughout the fabrication process while coordinating with production, welding, and inspection teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure fabrication activities comply with ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and project specifications.
Review WPS, PQR, ITP, and quality documents before fabrication activities.
Conduct in-process and final inspections during fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.




Monitor fit-up, welding, dimensional checks, and assembly activities.
Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT) with inspection agencies.
Verify material traceability, MTCs, and documentation.
Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and final documentation.
Coordinate with production, QA/QC team, and client inspectors for stage inspections and approvals.
Ensure compliance with HSE and company quality procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
6 + years experience in fabrication of pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers.
Solid knowledge of ASME Section VIII, TEMA standards, and fabrication codes.
Experience in NDT methods and inspection procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication documents.
Experience working in oil & gas fabrication preferred
