Position: Quality Manager

Key Products : TMT Bars (6mm-32mm), Wire Rods, Steel Strips, Steel Tubes/Pipes, Nails, Binding Wire, Quarter Rods

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain plant Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System .
Ensure compliance of finished products with BS 4449:2005 + A3:2016 Steel for Reinforcement of Concrete and relevant international standards.
Manage quality control activities across SMS, Rolling Mills, Strip Mill, Tube Mill, and wire product lines.
Supervise chemical, mechanical, and dimensional testing of steel products in line with BS EN ISO 15630-1:2019 Testing of Steel for Reinforcement and Prestressing .




Lead the central laboratory including spectrometer analysis, tensile testing, bend/rebend testing, and dimensional inspections.
Establish inspection and testing plans for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and monitor quality KPIs including rejection rate, scrap levels, and customer claims.

Qualification
Bachelor s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Experience
10 15 years experience in steel manufacturing.
Minimum 5 years in a senior quality management role.
Robust experience in SMS, rolling mills, and tube manufacturing operations.
