Roles and Responsibilities
Team Management:
Supervise a team of sewing operators.
Train and mentor staff on techniques and safety.
Evaluate and provide feedback on performance.
Production Coordination:
Plan and allocate sewing tasks based on production schedules.
Coordinate with other departments (cutting, finishing, QC).
Ensure timely material delivery.
Quality Control:
Monitor stitching quality and ensure garment standards.
Inspect finished products for defects and implement corrections.
Machine Maintenance:
Ensure sewing machines are well-maintained and operating.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate major ones.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain daily production and material usage reports.
Update management on production status and challenges.
Safety & Workplace Organization:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure a clean working setting.
Address safety hazards immediately.
Process Improvement:
Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
