Quantity Take off:

oOversee and ensure thorough quantity take-offs from project documents for effective cost assessment. oCollaborate with the design and engineering teams to ascertain and resolve any discrepancies in project specifications.
Data Management:

oMaintain and refine cost estimation databases, ensuring they are up-to-date with regional labor rates, material prices, and subcontractor quotes. oConduct market analysis and benchmarking studies to enhance the accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
Project Leadership:

oSupervise and mentor junior engineers in the estimation process, providing guidance and support in developing their skills. oAttend estimation reviews and discussions with reporting managers to establish insights and implications for financial forecasting.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

oCollaborate with project managers, architects,



and clients to clearly understand project requirements and align on financial expectations. oEngage with procurement and contracts teams to obtain quotes and clarify technical aspects relevant to the estimates.
Documentation and Reporting:

oPrepare and manage comprehensive documentation for estimates, including methodologies, assumptions, and any relevant changes that arise during the project lifecycle. oGenerate regular reports comparing estimated costs against actual expenditures and provide insights for variance analysis.
Site Engagement:

oConduct site visits to verify current conditions and evaluate their impact on project costs and schedules. oMonitor construction activities to ensure compliance with estimates, suggesting adjustments as necessary to align with budgetary constraints.
ERP:

oPossess deep knowledge of ERP operations. oMaintain standard formats for WBS, Labour library, material library etc oUpload quantities in ERP.

oPerform necessary amendments.

oApproval of Purchase requisitions.
Reconciliation:

oPrepare Material reconciliation on monthly basis.
