About the role

Din Dayal and Sons, Khari Baoli, is hiring a full-time Sales Representative, based out of our Old Delhi office, to drive sales of butterfly and mushroom popcorn kernels.

This is a field role: you will spend your working days visiting cinemas and multiplex chains, popcorn manufacturers and packers, distributors, wholesalers, caterers and retailers.

Responsibilities
Full time field visits to existing and prospective buyers of popcorn kernels (theatres, snack brands, distributors, institutional buyers)
Generate leads and build a strong buyer network across Delhi NCR and North India
Present product specs: butterfly vs. mushroom, expansion ratio, moisture, packaging and grades
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and volumes, and close orders against monthly targets
Follow up on inquiries, samples and repeat orders
Coordinate with accounts, dispatch and warehouse teams for order processing and timely delivery
Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, sales and payment follow-ups
Gather market feedback on pricing, competitors and customer needs





Qualifications
Strongly preferred: prior experience selling popcorn kernels or working in the popcorn, snack-food or cinema-supply industry, with an existing buyer network
Experience in agro-commodity, dry fruits, FMCG or food-ingredient sales is also valued
Strong communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
Basic numerical skills for quotations, pricing and margins
Good time management and planning of daily client visits
Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp Business, email)
Positive knowledge of Delhi NCR markets and comfort with daily travel
Own two-wheeler preferred for field visits
High school diploma or bachelor's degree preferred; freshers with robust drive may be considered
