Position:- Purchase Manager Experience:- 6+ Years

Qualification:- Any BE or B.Tech Along with MBA in Marketing Management preffered

Role Summary:

Responsible for leading end-to-end procurement operations for materials (mold sets, imported spares, capital items, and consumables) across multiple plant locations, ensuring timely availability at optimal cost, quality, and quantity in line with organizational objectives and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement & Cost Management:
Collaborate with user departments to understand technical specifications and ensure accurate sourcing.
Lead cost analysis, vendor negotiations, and commercial evaluations to achieve best value.
Develop and implement cost optimization strategies, including vendor development and alternate sourcing.
Monitor inventory, consumption patterns, and logistics modes to control procurement and freight costs.

Procurement Operations:
Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order through SAP.
Identify, evaluate,



and onboard reliable vendors; manage RFQs and technical/commercial evaluations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure timely system updates.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Build and sustain robust supplier relationships to improve service levels and secure long-term agreements.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply and operations.
Resolve internal stakeholder concerns and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and guide the purchase team to achieve departmental objectives.
Promote cross-functional collaboration and a customer-focused approach.
Drive a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

External: Vendors, Suppliers, Logistics Service Providers, Freight Forwarders, Banks
