Responsibilities

- Design and build secure, well-tested secrets-management components and contribute to multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code architecture.
- Build and operate highly available Tier 0 services, participate in on-call, and debug distributed-systems issues.
- Implement cryptographic and zero-trust identity features involving PKI, X.509, dynamic secrets, key rotation, device identity, and authentication.
- Develop secure secret-distribution capabilities across heterogeneous networks with strict access controls and minimized blast radius.
- Deliver production-grade software, improve test coverage and tooling, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Use AI development tools and advanced prompt engineering to produce and evaluate secure, reliable, and production-ready code.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience at a product-based software technology company.
- At least 3 years of development experience in public cloud environments; AWS is preferred and GCP is a plus.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Golang, Java, C#, Python, Rust, or C/C++.
- Experience building highly available,



scalable services backed by relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Applied knowledge of cloud security design, secrets management, PKI/X.509, and OWASP principles; HashiCorp Vault experience is a plus.
- Ability to design well-architected components, collaborate across teams, and solve complex engineering problems.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor, plus advanced prompt-engineering and system-context skills.
