Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a restaurant in Kalyan–Dombivli, Maharashtra.

The candidate should have strong experience in restaurant operations, team management, guest handling, service standards, sales, billing, inventory coordination, staff training, and outlet controls. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, commercially aware, and capable of independently managing the outlet while maintaining high standards of guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage complete day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Supervise Captains, Stewards, Hostess/GRE, Cashier, housekeeping, and support staff.
- Conduct daily staff briefings, grooming checks, duty allocation, and service planning.
- Ensure smooth table allocation, order flow, food service, billing, and guest handling.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution.
- Maintain service quality, hygiene, cleanliness, ambience, and overall guest experience.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor daily sales, covers, average per cover, discounts, voids, cancellations, and closing reports.
- Drive upselling and support achievement of outlet sales targets.
- Monitor stock movement, breakages, wastage, and inventory controls.
- Support stock counts, requisitions, receiving, and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, performance, and training requirements.
- Ensure opening/closing checklists, SOPs, and operational standards are followed.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, VIP guests, repeat customers, and group bookings.




- Coordinate with management for staffing, maintenance, vendor, and operational requirements.
- Prepare and share daily operational updates, sales reports, guest feedback, and staff issues with management.

Candidate Requirements:

- Prior experience as Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, or similar role.
- Strong experience in restaurant operations and guest service.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service, POS, billing, stock control, and daily reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, guest-handling, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing FOH teams and busy restaurant service.
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with sales targets and upselling.
- Should be presentable, disciplined, organized, and hands-on.
- Comfortable working weekends, public holidays, split shifts, and restaurant operating hours.
- Candidate should be currently located in or willing to travel/relocate to Kalyan–Dombivli.

Qualification:

Graduate / Hotel Management qualification preferred.
Relevant restaurant management experience will be given priority.
