About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Zonal Manager – Sales & Marketing to drive business growth across the Ambikapur region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in tissue culture plants, vegetable nursery, planting material or horticulture sales, with an established network among farmers, dealers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned territory.
- Drive farmer and dealer sales and achieve business targets.
- Develop and expand dealer/distributor networks.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, nurseries and channel partners.
- Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, crop visits and promotional activities.
- Identify new market opportunities and increase product penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer requirements.
- Lead and guide the field sales team.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain and logistics teams for product availability.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports and market development plans.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and strong product visibility.

Mandatory Requirements

- B.Sc Agriculture / M.Sc Agriculture / B.Tech Agricultural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of direct farmer and dealer sales & marketing experience




- Candidates must have relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Tissue Culture Plants / Banana Tissue Culture
- Vegetable Nursery / Vegetable Seedlings
- Grafted Vegetable Seedlings
- Horticulture / Planting Material
- Fertilizers / Crop Protection
- Drip / Sprinkler Irrigation
- Plastic Mulch
- Polyhouse / Protected Cultivation
- Robust farmer, dealer and distributor network in Chhattisgarh / Central India.
- Strong communication, negotiation and team-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working or having experience as:

Zonal Sales Manager | Regional Sales Manager | Area Sales Manager | Area Business Manager | Territory Sales Manager | Business Development Manager | Sales Manager

from tissue culture, vegetable nursery, horticulture, planting material or related agricultural businesses are preferred.
