Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Consultant – Azure Logic Apps + .NET with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Integration Services, .NET/C#, and Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise integration solutions.

The role involves building secure, reliable, cloud-native integrations across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, data services, and real-time event streams using API-led and event-driven architecture. The candidate should also leverage automation and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve development efficiency, observability, incident response, and integration quality.

Responsibilities

Azure Integration & Workflow Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services and Apache Kafka.
- Design, build, test, and deploy workflows using Azure Logic Apps, including triggers, connectors, exception handling, retries, and secure configuration.
- Deliver reliable cloud-native solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka, and supporting middleware such as Boomi.
- Enable secure connectivity across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, data services, and real-time event streams.

.NET Development

- Develop Azure Functions using .NET and C# for custom processing, validation, transformation, orchestration, and reusable integration services.




- Build and maintain robust integration components and services to support enterprise application connectivity.

Kafka Engineering & Event-Driven Architecture

- Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers for reliable event processing.
- Work with Kafka topics, partitions, offsets, consumer groups, replication, retention, and delivery semantics.
- Implement event-driven integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Apache Kafka.
- Work with Kafka event schemas and serialization formats, including JSON, Avro, and Protobuf, along with schema registry practices.

API Management & Messaging

- Implement and manage APIs through Azure API Management.
- Configure API policies, authentication, throttling, versioning, and lifecycle controls.
- Integrate REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise applications using secure, scalable integration patterns.
- Support hybrid integration scenarios across cloud and on-premises environments.

AI-Assisted Engineering & Automation

- Apply automation and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve development productivity.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to improve code quality, observability, incident response, and integration reliability.

Operations, Monitoring & Performance

- Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka and Azure integration services.
- Analyze consumer lag and resolve integration issues.
- Implement security, resilience, retry, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Perform performance tuning to ensure reliable and scalable integration solutions.

DevOps & Collaboration





- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Manage source control and environment-based configurations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to debug issues, document solutions, and deliver reliable integration services.

Requirements

- 5–12 years of relevant experience in software development and enterprise integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions using .NET and C#.
- Deep experience in Apache Kafka producer/consumer development and core concepts, including topics, partitions, offsets, consumer groups, replication, retention, and delivery semantics.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, REST APIs, SOAP services, and hybrid integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka event schemas and formats such as JSON, Avro, and Protobuf, including schema registry practices.
- Working knowledge of Kafka security, monitoring, troubleshooting, consumer lag analysis, resilience patterns, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of JSON/XML transformations, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, and microservices integration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, DevOps practices, and workplace-based configuration.
- Strong debugging, analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Boomi or other enterprise integration middleware.
- Experience applying AI-assisted engineering and automation to software development and operational workflows.
- Experience designing resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-native integration architectures.
