About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Cinematographer & Video Editor who can handle end-to-end video production, from setting up cameras and lighting to shooting cinematic footage and editing the final video.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating professional cameras, shooting podcasts, creating short-form social media content, filming long-form videos, and producing high-quality cinematic visuals.

Key Responsibilities

- Camera Operation & Cinematography: Operate skilled cameras, select appropriate lenses, manage camera settings, and capture high-quality cinematic footage.
- Cinematic Video Production: Plan and execute shots using composition, camera movement, framing, focus, and lighting techniques.
- Podcast Production: Set up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for podcast recordings and manage multi-camera shoots when required.
- Short-Form Content: Shoot and edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and other social media content.
- Long-Form Content: Film and edit interviews, YouTube videos, company videos, educational content, and other extended-format productions.
- Lighting & Audio: Set up lighting arrangements, microphones, and audio recording equipment to ensure professional production quality.
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos with appropriate pacing, transitions, music, sound design, and color correction.
- Post-Production: Perform color grading, audio cleanup, subtitles, motion graphics, and other finishing tasks as required.
- Production Planning: Understand creative briefs, prepare shot lists, organize footage, and coordinate shoots with the content and marketing teams.
- Equipment Management: Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, memory cards,



and other production accessories.
- Content Optimization: Deliver videos in the correct formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions for different platforms.

Required Skills

- Practical experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras and other professional video equipment.
- Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, framing, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and white balance.
- Ability to shoot cinematic footage with effective camera movements and lighting.
- Experience filming podcasts, interviews, short-form videos, and long-form content.
- Positive understanding of audio recording and microphone placement.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of color correction, color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to manage the complete production process, from shoot preparation to final delivery.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- A portfolio demonstrating both cinematography and video editing.
- Experience with multi-camera podcast setups.
- Familiarity with gimbals, stabilizers, tripods, and external monitors.
- Experience creating content for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics tools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different shooting environments.

- Edited videos demonstrating color grading, audio quality, and storytelling.

Candidates must have practical camera-shooting skills as well as video-editing abilities. This role is not limited to editing pre-recorded footage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
