Position - Senior Executive - FIT Sales & Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for result-oriented FIT staff with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to handle both sales and operational activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing customized itineraries and quotations, converting enquiries into bookings, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth execution of travel arrangements from enquiry to trip completion.

Key Responsibilities

--Sales

* Handle customer enquiries and understand their travel requirements and budgets.

* Prepare customized domestic and international tour packages, itineraries, and quotations.

* Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

* Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive rates and maintain profitable margins.

* Promote additional services and achieve assigned sales targets.

* Build solid customer relationships and generate repeat business.

--Operations

* Manage hotel bookings, transfers, sightseeing, activities, and other travel arrangements.

* Coordinate with DMCs, hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers.

* Ensure timely booking confirmations and accurate travel documentation.





* Prepare itineraries, vouchers, and travel-related documents.

* Handle booking amendments, cancellations, customer complaints, and last-minute changes.

* Monitor booking costs, supplier payments, and customer payments.

* Ensure smooth coordination and service delivery throughout the customer's trip.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or FIT department.

* Good knowledge of travel destinations, hotels, and tour packages.

* Experience in both travel sales and booking operations is essential.

* Strong itinerary planning, costing, quotation preparation, and negotiation skills.

* Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and relevant travel booking systems.

* Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work under pressure and achieve sales targets.

* Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

* Customer-focused attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
