Role Overview

- Job Title: Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician
- Reports To: Maintenance Manager or Shop Supervisor
- Primary Objective: Diagnose mechanical failures, perform routine maintenance, and execute reliable repairs on vehicles or industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Run computer diagnostic tests, use multimeters or scanners, and perform manual inspections to identify warning lights or engine and electrical issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular tune-ups, oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Repairs & Replacements: Fix or replace worn, damaged, or broken parts, including brakes, transmissions, steering components, and suspension systems.
- Customer & Team Communication: Explain vehicle issues clearly to clients, prepare repair estimates and timelines, and coordinate with shop managers.
- Record Keeping & Safety: Maintain accurate service logs, track parts inventory, and follow strict workplace health and safety rules.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
