Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and applicable statutory regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections of the plant, machinery, equipment, and work areas.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and workers
Assist in emergency preparedness, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
Investigate workplace accidents and near-miss incidents and prepare reports.
Coordinate with production, maintenance,
and HR teams to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of industrial safety and fire prevention practices.
Understanding of PPE, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
Knowledge of emergency response and accident investigation procedures.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate with shop-floor employees and management.
