About the Role

Wedding Destination is looking for an experienced Wedding Event Planner Executive who can independently manage wedding events from initial planning to final execution. The role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, decorators, and internal teams to ensure that every event is planned properly and executed smoothly.

The candidate will work on weddings and related functions at venues including Wedding Land Turbhe and Tandel Wedding Ground, Seawoods, along with other event locations handled by the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate weddings and related functions, including engagements, Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, weddings, and receptions.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budgets, and expectations.
- Coordinate with the décor team to finalise themes, layouts, stage designs, entrance décor, seating arrangements, and other event elements.
- Prepare and manage event schedules, checklists, timelines, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, caterers, sound and lighting teams, and other service providers.
- Conduct venue visits and oversee event preparations, installations, and setup.
- Supervise on-ground execution to ensure all arrangements are completed on time and as per the approved plan.
- Manage staff and coordinate with different teams during live events.
- Handle last-minute changes, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure smooth event flow.




- Monitor event-related expenses, resource requirements, and timelines.
- Maintain regular client updates and ensure professional communication throughout the planning process.
- Conduct final checks before events and supervise dismantling and closure after completion.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in wedding planning, event management, or wedding décor coordination.
- Proven experience handling wedding events and managing on-ground execution.
- Strong vendor management, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, teams, and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to event venues and work flexible hours during weddings and peak event seasons.
- Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for assigned events.
- Knowledge of wedding décor, event logistics, and vendor coordination will be an advantage.
