GenX PV India Private Limited is engaged in the solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry. The company focuses on manufacturing operations, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities, supplier development, cost optimization, and material planning to support uninterrupted production.

2. Job Summary

The Senior Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the complete procurement function, including sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, purchase planning, inventory coordination, cost control, and supplier performance management. The role requires solid commercial skills, technical understanding, and the ability to ensure timely availability of materials at competitive prices without compromising quality.

3. Roles and ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic Sourcing and Procurement

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production requirements and business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, consumables, machinery, spare parts, and services.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, from purchase requisition to purchase order, delivery, and invoice coordination.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays and shortages.




- Develop alternate sources for critical materials to reduce supply risks.
- Maintain procurement plans based on production schedules, inventory levels, and demand forecasts.

B. Vendor Management and Development

- Identify, assess, negotiate with, and develop suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and periodic performance reviews.
- Build long-term relationships with strategic vendors.
- Coordinate supplier audits and corrective actions in collaboration with the Quality Department.
- Monitor vendor delivery performance and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain an updated and approved vendor database.

C. Cost Negotiation and Cost Optimization

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Analyze quotations and conduct comparative statements before finalizing suppliers.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising material quality.
- Track market trends, commodity prices, and supplier price movements.
- Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing, annual rate contracts, and strategic sourcing.
- Monitor procurement budgets and report cost savings to management.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
