Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety or a relevant qualification
2–5 years of experience in EHS/Industrial Safety, preferably in API pharmaceutical
Experience :
- chemical handling safety
-fire safety
-risk assessment
-permit-to-work systems
- accident investigation, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies and statutory safety regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and solvents.
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and permit-to-work activities.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and ETP teams to ensure workplace safety.
