SOURCING MANAGER – FABRIC & TRIMS

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end sourcing and procurement of fabrics, trims and garment accessories.

Develop and maintain reliable domestic and international supplier networks.

Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

Ensure raw materials are available on time according to production requirements.

Coordinate with the Merchandising, Production, Planning, Quality and Commercial departments.

Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance, material quality and delivery commitments.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Ensure materials meet buyer specifications and required quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in garment manufacturing or apparel export.

Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, trims and garment accessories.

Excellent skills in vendor development, negotiation and costing.

Positive understanding of fabric consumption, procurement planning and lead-time management.

Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems preferred.

Fashion Designer – Menswear & Kidswear

Build seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour stories and range plans in line with buyer briefs and target price points.

Prepare mood boards, fashion sketches, CAD designs, technical drawings and detailed tech packs.

Manage sample development, fittings, design corrections and final sample approvals.

Coordinate with merchandising and sourcing on fabric and trim selection,



lab dips, strike-offs and print/embroidery approvals

Ensure timely completion of design collections and new product development activities.

Maintain design documentation, style specifications and approved sample records.

Support a smooth handover from sampling to bulk production

Skills & Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy or an equivalent institute.

5–8 years of experience in Menswear and/or Kidswear design, preferably with exposure to both categories and experience in a garment export house, buying house or brand.

Strong knowledge of woven garments, fabric properties, fitting, patterns and garment construction.

Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and fashion CAD software.

Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes, sampling and technical specifications.

Excellent creativity, color sense, trend forecasting and commercial design skills.

Strong communication, coordination and time-management abilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
