Job Summary
Ingrain is looking for a Junior Architect to support the design team in developing architectural concepts, preparing working drawings and coordinating project documentation. The ideal candidate should have a valuable understanding of architectural design, technical drawings and construction details.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations and sections.
- Prepare architectural working drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and design presentations using relevant architectural software.
- Coordinate with senior architects and consultants to incorporate design changes.
- Assist in material selection, detailing and preparation of project documentation.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams and participate in site visits whenever required.
- Maintain updated drawings and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Support the team in resolving design and technical issues during project development.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and other 3D visualisation software.
- Understanding of architectural drawings, construction details and building materials.
- Good design sense, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage assigned tasks within deadlines.
