Job Summary

To provide excellent food and beverage service, ensure guest satisfaction, maintain restaurant service standards, and support smooth daily operations. The Restaurant Captain will additionally supervise the service team and coordinate restaurant activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage options and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and restaurant readiness.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and complaints.
- Clear tables and ensure proper resetting for the next service.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Follow hotel policies, service procedures, and operational standards.
- Assist with billing procedures and ensure order accuracy.
- Additional responsibilities for Captain: Supervise waiters and service staff, allocate duties, monitor service quality, train junior staff, handle guest complaints, and report operational issues to the Restaurant Manager.




- Support inventory control and minimize wastage, where applicable.

Skills Required

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic to good English-speaking ability.
- Strong guest service and customer-handling skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette.
- Teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and staff supervision skills for Captain-level candidates.
- Basic POS and billing knowledge.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
- Waiter: 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Restaurant Captain: 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered for Waiter positions.

Salary & Benefits

- Waiter: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month.
- Restaurant Captain: ₹20,000–₹28,000 per month.
- Food and accommodation provided as per hotel policy.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, and the hotel's approved salary structure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
