The Cement Plant Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining cement plant machinery to ensure smooth, protected, and efficient plant operations. The candidate must be capable of handling plant equipment, monitoring production processes, identifying technical issues, and coordinating with maintenance staff.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor cement plant machinery and equipment.
- Handle equipment such as belt conveyors, crushers, ball mills, grinding mills, elevators, feeders, and packing machines, as applicable.
- Monitor production output and maintain the required quality standards.
- Check machine operating parameters, including temperature, pressure, vibration, and motor load, wherever applicable.
- Identify abnormal machine sounds, blockages, breakdowns, and operational faults.
- Coordinate with electrical and mechanical maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain daily production records, machine logs, downtime reports, and shift handover records.
- Ensure proper material handling and minimize material wastage.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the plant area.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other operators to achieve production targets.

3. Educational Qualification

- Minimum: 10th or 12th pass.
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant technical trade will be preferred.




- Candidates with relevant cement plant operation training will receive preference.

4. Experience Required

- Fresher candidates may apply if suitable training is provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a cement plant, cement grinding unit, mineral processing plant, or similar industrial facility is preferred.
- Experience operating grinding mills, crushers, conveyors, or packing equipment will be an advantage.

5. Required Skills

- Basic understanding of industrial machinery and plant operations.
- Ability to identify machine faults and report breakdowns promptly.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and equipment handling.
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and coordinate with a team.
- Physically fit to work in an industrial workplace.
