About GAIC

Guardian Angel Institute of Caregiving (GAIC), an initiative of Guardian Angel Homecare, provides industry-oriented training for healthcare and caregiving careers in India and abroad.

With over 3,500 students trained, GAIC offers programmes in caregiving, geriatric care, maternal and child care, emergency response, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other essential healthcare skills.

GAIC's credentials and collaborations include NCFE CACHE, UK; the Scientific & Technical Education Development Council (STED Council); and the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala.

Job Summary

We are looking for a target-oriented Academic Counsellor – Student Admissions to increase student enrolments for GAIC's caregiving and healthcare training programmes.

The primary responsibility is to handle student enquiries, provide course counselling, follow up with prospective students, and convert leads into confirmed admissions. The candidate must be comfortable working with admission targets and maintaining consistent follow-up with prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and digital marketing leads.
- Counsel prospective students about courses, eligibility, fees, duration, training, and career opportunities.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed student admissions and achieve monthly admission targets.
- Conduct outbound calls and follow up regularly with prospective students.
- Maintain accurate lead, follow-up, and admission records in the CRM or lead management system.




- Communicate with students and parents to address queries and support admission decisions.
- Coordinate with academic and training teams to ensure smooth student onboarding and batch joining.
- Participate in college visits, career guidance programmes, education fairs, and admission campaigns when required.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in academic counselling, student counselling, student admissions, education sales, telecalling, or inside sales.
- Candidates without relevant professional experience will not be considered.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam are mandatory.
- Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to convert prospective student enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Target-oriented approach with valuable organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems or lead management tools.

Salary and Benefits

- Fixed salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
- Performance-based incentives linked to confirmed student admissions and achievement of approved targets.
- Provident Fund (PF), as applicable.
- Earned leave encashment as per company policy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
