We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller (QC) with expertise in men's bottom wear in the garment industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end quality control across various types of men's bottoms, ensuring garments meet buyer specifications, measurement standards, and quality requirements from fabric inspection to final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect fabrics, trims, and accessories for quality, shade, GSM, and defects.
- Monitor in-line production quality during cutting, stitching, washing, and finishing.
- Conduct measurement and fit checks as per approved size charts and tolerance levels.
- Inspect various types of men's bottom wear, including jeans, trousers, chinos, joggers, cargo pants, shorts, and other bottom wear styles.
- Identify and report stitching defects, fabric faults, measurement deviations, washing issues, and finishing defects.
- Check washing quality, colour consistency, shrinkage, and finishing standards wherever applicable.
- Conduct final quality inspections (AQL/100% checking) before packing and dispatch.
- Verify labelling, tagging, folding, packing, and carton quality.
- Maintain quality inspection reports, defect analysis, and corrective action records.
- Coordinate with production teams, job workers, washing units,



and merchandisers to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with buyer specifications, approved samples, and quality standards.

Quality Parameters to Check

- Stitching quality, seam strength, and garment construction.
- Measurement accuracy, fit consistency, and size-wise specifications.
- Fabric quality, colour consistency, and garment appearance.
- Washing effects and finishing quality, wherever applicable.
- Thread trimming, ironing, labelling, and packing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–6 years of experience in quality control in the garment/apparel industry, preferably in men's bottom wear.
- Strong knowledge of different men's bottom wear styles, fabrics, garment construction, and finishing processes.
- Understanding of AQL standards and buyer inspection procedures.
- Ability to read tech packs, approved samples, size charts, and measurement sheets.
- Experience coordinating with production units, job workers, and washing units.
- Valuable communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage quality control activities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
