Job Overview

Flyingcolour Tax Consultant LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (IFRS) to manage the complete accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate should have strong IFRS knowledge, hands-on experience in financial reporting, and expertise in month-end and year-end closing. The role requires accuracy, timely delivery, client coordination, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting for assigned clients.
- Review bank statements, invoices, expense bills, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with IFRS.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
- Prepare draft and final financial statements and resolve client accounting queries.
- Coordinate with Client Managers and VAT, Corporate Tax, Audit, and Compliance teams.
- Communicate proactively with clients, provide regular updates, and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
- Maintain zero backlog in Zoho CRM and ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure reports are shared only with authorized contacts.
- Handle urgent assignments,



escalations, and additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience with strong IFRS knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Zoho CRM.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred: ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification (completed or in progress), along with knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. Experience with UAE-based clients is an advantage.

Candidates must have their own laptop, reliable internet/Wi-Fi, Android phone, and power backup.
