Job Title: Liaisoning Head – Ground Mount Solar Projects

About the Role seeking a Liaisoning Head to take complete ownership of government relations, regulatory approvals, and statutory clearances for our utility-scale ground-mounted solar projects.
Significant Note: This is a dedicated Government Relations & Regulatory Liaisoning position. Candidates with a pure or hybrid Land Acquisition/Real Estate profile will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Government & Authority Engagement: Lead end-to-end liaisoning with central, state, and local government departments, regulatory bodies, and state nodal agencies.
- Statutory Approvals & Clearances: Drive timely acquisition of essential approvals, including:
- State Nodal Agency registrations (MEDA, MPRED, etc.)
- Grid Connectivity & Allocation approvals
- DISCOM approvals, PPA / PMC coordination
- CEIG (Electrical Inspectorate) approvals & safety clearance
- Land conversion (ALU/CLU) and environmental/forest NOCs
- Bottleneck Resolution: Manage on-ground regulatory roadblocks, site disputes,



and administrative delays through direct coordination with authorities.
- Policy Tracking: Monitor shifts in state/central solar policies, tariff regulations, and grid codes, advising executive leadership on risks and strategy.
- Internal Alignment: Coordinate with legal, land, and project engineering teams to ensure applications match state-specific regulatory mandates.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: 12 to 15+ years of core liaisoning/regulatory affairs experience in the Ground Mount Solar sector.
- Technical & Regulatory Mastery: Direct working knowledge of state nodal processes (e.g., MEDA, MPRED), DISCOM connectivity, CEIG approval workflows, and transmission utilities.
- Network: Established working relationships across state revenue departments, electricity boards, and renewable energy agencies.
- Travel Mobility: High comfort level with ~90% site and government office travel across India.
- Education: Graduate in any stream (Degrees in Law, Engineering, or Public Administration preferred).

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
