- Cost Analysis and Estimation: o Analyze and estimate the costs of manufacturing valves, including materials, labor, overhead, and other related expenses.
- Develop and maintain cost models for various valve products. o Conduct cost comparisons and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Process Optimization: o Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand manufacturing processes and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. o Recommend process changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Budgeting and Financial Reporting: o Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts related to product costing.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor actual costs versus budgeted costs and analyze variances.
- Product Development Support: o Provide cost estimates for new product development to Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure cost considerations are integrated into the design phase.
- Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in cost estimation and reporting. o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cost analysis and estimation processes
