Job Summary

J.R. Infratech is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project billing, quantity estimation, measurement verification, preparation of client bills, and coordination with site teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of bills.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) Bills, final bills, and contractor bills for construction projects.
- Prepare client bills based on approved drawings, BOQs, work orders, and site measurements.
- Perform quantity calculations and prepare detailed measurement sheets.
- Verify actual site quantities against BOQ items and approved drawings.
- Prepare and maintain Measurement Books (MB), reconciliation statements, and billing records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients for bill certification and approval.
- Monitor extra items, deviation statements, variation claims, and additional work quantities.
- Prepare material consumption and reconciliation statements for cement, steel, and other construction materials, wherever applicable.
- Check subcontractor bills and verify quantities before processing payments.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills,



measurements, and supporting records.
- Assist in preparing cost statements, work progress reports, and billing forecasts.
- Ensure timely submission of bills and follow up on pending certifications and payments.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in construction billing.
- Experience in residential buildings, commercial buildings, or other civil construction projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, quantity surveying, and measurement procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with billing documentation, RA bills, and final account settlements.
- Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Practical knowledge of civil construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to independently prepare and verify client and subcontractor bills.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet billing deadlines.
