Job Title: Senior Manager - Legal Affairs

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide legal advisory on plant operations, manufacturing, commercial contracts, employment, and regulatory matters.

- Ensure compliance with applicable factory, labour, industrial relations, environmental, and safety laws.

- Manage the plant compliance tracking system, statutory obligations, renewals, and compliance dashboards.

- Oversee licences, registrations, permits, NOCs, approvals, and statutory filings.

- Liaise with government authorities, inspectors, external legal counsel, and consultants.

- Handle labour disputes, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, grievances, and employment-related legal matters.

- Conduct legal audits,



risk assessments, compliance reviews, and employee awareness training.

Requisites
- LLB degree with strong knowledge of Indian labour, factory, industrial, and environmental laws.

- Experience in plant-level legal and statutory compliance within a manufacturing environment.

- Expertise in government liaison, regulatory approvals, and employment law matters.

- Robust legal risk management, documentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage compliance systems and coordinate with plant leadership, HR, and external counsel.
