PRODUCTION HEAD – FURNITURE

ABOUT SKYLER WORLD

Skyler World is a premium interiors brand specialising in kitchens, wardrobes, windows, partitions and furniture. We are expanding our furniture manufacturing operations in Raipur, backed by 1,20,000 sq. ft. of factory space. We are looking for an experienced production leader to build a skilled team, establish robust processes and deliver high-quality furniture for the middle-to-premium segment.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional currently working as an Assistant Production Head, Sub-Production Head or in an equivalent senior position. The successful candidate will set up and manage end-to-end manufacturing for sofas, beds, dining tables, chairs and other furniture products—from technical drawings and product development through production, quality checks and dispatch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establish the factory production setup, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workstations and quality standards from the ground up.

· Plan daily and monthly production, manpower, materials, machine/workstation utilisation and delivery schedules.

· Oversee manufacturing of sofas, beds, dining tables, chairs and related furniture, ensuring accurate construction and consistent finishing.

· Read and interpret CAD/AutoCAD drawings and coordinate with design teams to convert concepts into production-ready products.

· Lead product development, prototypes, material selection and improvements in construction, durability, comfort and finish.

· Build, recruit, train and manage supervisors, skilled workers and large production teams; create explicit accountability and team discipline.

· Coordinate with procurement, stores, design, quality,



dispatch and installation teams to maintain smooth workflow and material availability.

· Monitor product quality, costing, productivity, wastage, rework and on-time delivery; identify bottlenecks and implement corrective action.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

· Minimum 10 years of relevant furniture manufacturing experience; experience setting up or scaling a factory is preferred.

· Graduate qualification and practical knowledge of AutoCAD / CAD drawings, measurements, technical specifications and production documentation.

· Strong knowledge of furniture construction, frames, woodwork, hardware, foam, upholstery, fabrics, finishing and furniture components.

· Hands-on understanding of sofa making, fabric handling, stitching/thread work and upholstery processes.

· Knowledge of marble/stone work and its integration into furniture products; familiarity with adhesives and glue application is an advantage.

· Sound understanding of product development, material planning, quality control, costing, production planning and process improvement.

· Proven team-building, leadership, problem-solving and communication skills; able to manage deadlines, pressure and a large workforce.

· Good Hindi communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month onwards, depending on experience. Benefits: Accommodation and vehicle provided.
