The Spirited Spot (TSS) is a high-energy bar and dining destination built around global food, craft cocktails, live music and warm hospitality.

After establishing TSS in Nagpur, we have now opened our Pune outlet in Baner. Our food takes inspiration from flavours and street kitchens across the world, while our bar focuses on modern cocktails and a strong beverage experience.

ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Captain who can confidently handle a busy restaurant and bar environment.

The Captain will be responsible for managing their assigned section, taking orders accurately, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, guiding the service team and ensuring every guest receives attentive and professional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Manage the assigned section and tables independently.
- Understand the complete food, cocktail, beverage and bar menu.
- Explain dishes and drinks clearly and make suitable recommendations.
- Take orders accurately and ensure correct POS punching.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar and service team.
- Ensure food and beverages are served correctly and on time.
- Monitor tables throughout the guest’s visit.
- Handle guest requests, feedback and basic complaints professionally.
- Upsell food, cocktails, beverages and desserts naturally without being pushy.




- Guide Stewards and support staff during service.
- Maintain proper table setup, cleanliness and service standards.
- Handle busy nights, live music evenings and high-volume operations calmly.
- Follow hygiene, grooming and restaurant SOPs.
- Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager in smooth daily operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Hotel Management qualification is compulsory.

The candidate should have:

- Previous experience as a Captain / Senior Steward in a reputed bar, restaurant or hospitality brand.
- Experience working in a high-energy bar environment is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of global food and international cuisines.
- Good basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and beverages.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with guests in English and Hindi.
- Good personality, grooming and positive body language.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and high-energy live music nights.

We are not looking for someone who simply takes orders.

We are looking for someone who understands hospitality, knows the menu, reads the table, recommends confidently and takes ownership of the guest experience.
