Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Liaison Architect / Civil Engineer to manage statutory approvals, coordinate with government authorities and ensure that architectural and construction projects comply with applicable development regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage liaison activities with municipal corporations, planning authorities and other government departments.
- Handle statutory approvals, building permissions, commencement certificates, occupation certificates and other project-related clearances.
- Prepare, verify and submit drawings, applications and supporting documents required for approvals.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, developers and project teams throughout the approval process.
- Follow up with authorities to ensure approvals are obtained within project timelines.
- Interpret applicable development control regulations, building bye-laws and local planning requirements.
- Resolve approval-related queries and maintain proper documentation of submissions and permissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in liaison, statutory approvals or regulatory coordination.
- Solid knowledge of Mumbai municipal approval procedures and development regulations.
- Experience handling approvals independently for building and real estate projects.
- Excellent coordination, communication, documentation and follow-up skills.
