Business Development Manager – EdTech

We are looking for a target-driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business development team, drive student enrolments, and achieve monthly revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have strong EdTech industry experience, proven team management skills, and expertise in student counselling, sales strategy, and business forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate the business development team to achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive student enrolments and business growth.
- Monitor individual and team performance against monthly targets and KPIs.
- Oversee student counselling activities and ensure effective conversion of leads into admissions.
- Prepare monthly business forecasts, sales projections, and performance reports.
- Analyse lead conversion rates, sales performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Train and mentor team members to improve counselling quality, sales performance, and productivity.




- Coordinate with marketing and academic teams to ensure smooth admission operations.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategies to expand market reach.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the EdTech industry.
- Proven experience in team management and achieving monthly sales or admission targets.
- Strong knowledge of student counselling, lead management, and admission conversion.
- Experience in business forecasting, sales planning, and performance analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven workplace and make data-driven business decisions.

Compensation

₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
