Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified CCNA Specialist to manage, configure, and maintain robust IP routing, switching, broadband, and enterprise network infrastructure within BSNL telecom ecosystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for network provisioning, incident response, handling fiber/leased line connectivity, troubleshooting WAN/LAN networks, and ensuring high network availability and SLA compliance across regional nodes.

Key Responsibilities1. Network Deployment & Configuration

- Configure, test, and deploy Cisco routers, switches, access points, and security gateways for enterprise and telecom branch setups.
- Implement and manage LAN/WAN protocols, including OSPF, BGP, RIP, static routing, VLANs, Trunking (802.1Q), and STP.
- Manage IP addressing, Subnetting, IPv4/IPv6 transition, NAT, DHCP, and DNS services across BSNL network loops.
- Set up and maintain leased lines, MPLS circuits, FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) broadband equipment, and VPN connections (IPsec/SSL) for BSNL corporate clients.

2. Operations, Monitoring & SLA Management

- Monitor network performance and link stability using NMS tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Cisco Prime).
- Troubleshoot Tier-1 & Tier-2 network issues, fault isolation, and packet analysis using Wireshark.
- Ensure strictly minimal downtime to adhere to strict BSNL Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with field technicians, line staff, and third-party vendors for link restoration and fiber fault rectifications.

3. Network Security & Documentation

- Implement basic network security policies,



Access Control Lists (ACLs), port security, and firewall rules.
- Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, IP allocation inventories, configuration backups, and incident logs.
- Assist in regular firmware/software updates and patch deployments across network devices.

Key Requirements & QualificationsMandatory Criteria

- Certification: Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA 200-301) is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech in ECE, CSE, IT, EEE) or B.Sc / BCA / Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications / Computer Networking.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in network administration, switching, routing, and telecom infrastructure management.

Technical Skills Required

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack, OSI model, subnetting, and network protocols.
- Practical exposure to Cisco IOS/IOS-XE command-line interfaces (CLI) and device provisioning.
- Familiarity with telecom/ISP infrastructure concepts: Broadband (FTTH/ADSL), MPLS, IP-TAX, Optical Fiber Communication (OFC), and GPON networks.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer).

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and fault isolation skills under pressure.
- Positive verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages for cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 rotational NOC shifts or field visits when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
