Own core engineering decisions for a desktop application that has to work flawlessly for millions of users, deeply integrated with the cloud. As a Principal Engineer at Talentica, you’ll drive architecture and design for a high-scale desktop + cloud product, solving engineering challenges such as reliable cross-platform data sync and large-scale performance tuning.

What You'll Own

- Drive core engineering decisions for a desktop application deeply integrated with cloud services.
- Build and scale the systems connecting desktop environments with cloud platforms.
- Turn complex requirements into clean, modular, reusable components.
- Work across the stack — from desktop application logic to APIs and cloud interactions.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability for large-scale usage.

What We Need

- BE/BTech from one of the Top engineering colleges in India.
- 6–8 years of experience building production-grade software systems.
- Strong expertise in .NET and C#, including Windows Forms and WPF.
- Deep understanding of design patterns and modular architecture (e.g., dependency injection).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs with performance considerations.
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
- Ability to design and build scalable, reusable components.
- Good to have: experience building desktop applications similar to file-syncing systems (like Dropbox); exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar)



and large-scale systems; experience with WCF or inter-process communication; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, profiling tools, and automated testing frameworks; understanding of database design principles at scale.
