# Project Manager ## Role Overview Nandan GSE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of end-to-end customer order execution. From initial order release through design, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, and post-delivery closure, you will be the driving force ensuring successful project delivery. This critical role demands robust ownership, meticulous structured tracking, seamless cross-functional coordination, and confident client communication to deliver high-quality solutions for our esteemed clients, including the Indian Air Force, ISRO, HAL, DRDO, Tata, Reliance, Air India, and global customers. ## Key Responsibilities * Own milestone tracking and ensure on-time project completion for assigned customer orders. * Drive and coordinate all phases of project execution, including design, procurement, production, and dispatch. * Proactively manage scope changes, address escalations, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. * Maintain accurate and timely ERP updates for project status, Bills of Material (BOMs), and dispatches. * Utilize structured task trackers, Gantt charts, and dashboards to monitor project progress and health. * Provide clear and regular visibility to management on project status and potential challenges. * Coordinate material readiness seamlessly with the PPC (Planning & Project Control), Purchase, and Stores departments. * Ensure dispatch readiness in close collaboration with the Quality and Logistics teams. * Identify and actively work to reduce material-related and inspection-related delays. * Provide proactive and transparent updates to customers on project progress and milestones. * Manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and all customer inspections. * Handle customer and internal escalations with confidence, speed, and effective resolution. * Ensure complete dispatch documentation and maintain comprehensive project closure files. * Maintain Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and all customer-specific documentation. * Drive the capture of project learnings and implement continuous improvement actions for each project. ## Required Skills & Qualifications * **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment. * **Education**: MBA or Post Graduate (PG) qualification in Project Management. * **Technical Skills**: * Proven expertise in Project Tracking methodologies and tools. * Strong capabilities in Risk Management and mitigation. * Excellent Customer Communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficiency in using ERP systems for managing project status, BOMs, and dispatches. * Hands-on experience with MS Project or similar project management software. * Fluency in creating and interpreting project dashboards for reporting. * Solid understanding of Procurement processes. * Demonstrated skills in Manufacturing Coordination. * Experience in Logistics Coordination.
