Position: Design and Drafting Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant CAD software.

- Develop detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.

- Interpret engineering specifications, technical drawings, and design requirements.

- Prepare component drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.

- Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy.

- Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and company specifications.

- Maintain drawing records, design documents, and technical files.

- Support production teams in resolving design and drawing-related issues.





- Ensure timely completion of assigned design and drafting projects.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

- Knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.

- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Knowledge of engineering materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in design and drafting, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing company.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
