Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fashion Merchandiser with strong experience in high-fashion apparel and party wear to manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development and sampling to production and final shipment.

Buying House experience is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of garment production, sourcing, costing, buyer coordination, vendor management, and order execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to final shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers to understand product requirements, specifications, quantities, pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Handle sampling, costing, sourcing, order execution, and production follow-up.
- Develop and follow up on samples according to buyer requirements.
- Prepare and manage garment costing and quotations while ensuring target margins.
- Coordinate with fabric, trims, embroidery, accessories, and other suppliers.
- Liaise with vendors and production teams to ensure orders are executed as per approved specifications.
- Monitor production progress, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Identify production or quality issues and proactively coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate order sheets, production updates, approvals,



and merchandising documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of orders and on-time shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, production, quality, and other internal teams throughout the order lifecycle.
- Follow up regularly on pending approvals, materials, production, inspection, and dispatch.
- Support negotiation with vendors and suppliers regarding costing, timelines, and order requirements.

Requirements

- 5–8 years of experience in Fashion/Apparel Merchandising.
- Mandatory: Buying House experience.
- Strong experience in high-fashion apparel / party wear / garments.
- Good understanding of garment production, sourcing, and product development.
- Hands-on experience in buyer management and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of costing, sampling, production follow-up, and shipment management.
- Experience handling vendors, suppliers, and production units.
- Excellent communication, coordination, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet strict deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Candidates who have experience working with fashion buying houses, high-fashion garments, party-wear collections, and international/domestic buyers will be preferred.

Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
