Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Laser Cutting & AutoCAD Engineer with knowledge of 2D drafting, laser cutting drawings, and SPM (Special Purpose Machine) components. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings, developing laser-cutting profiles, and supporting manufacturing and fabrication activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create laser-cutting profiles and drawings for sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Prepare DXF files for laser cutting as per machine and production requirements.
- Work with sheet metal parts, plates, brackets, frames, and fabrication components used in SPM machines.
- Coordinate with design, production, and fabrication teams.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, hole positions, and cutting profiles.
- Modify drawings according to production and customer requirements.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and timely completion of assigned work.
- Support material optimization and reduce sheet metal wastage.




- Follow engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Understanding of laser cutting drawings and DXF file preparation.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication and SPM machine components.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.
- Ability to coordinate with production and fabrication teams.

Experience

- Freshers (0 years): Candidates with basic AutoCAD knowledge and a willingness to learn laser cutting processes may apply.
- Experienced candidates (1–5 years): Candidates with experience in AutoCAD drafting, laser cutting, DXF preparation, sheet metal fabrication, or SPM machine manufacturing are preferred.

Preferred Candidate

- Mechanical Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech candidates.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of laser cutting and sheet metal drawings.
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
