Job Summary:

Systematic Industries Limited is looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the design, development, costing, and technical validation of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) products. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in OFC cable manufacturing, product design, cost optimization, and technical compliance for domestic and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and development of various OFC cable products based on customer specifications and industry requirements.

· Prepare cable design calculations, design sheets, Bill of Materials (BOM), material consumption, and product costing.

· Ensure compliance with relevant IEC, ITU-T, TEC, and other applicable industry standards.

· Handle technical specifications, RFQs, tenders, and preparation of technical proposals.

· Drive value engineering, material optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.

· Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, SCM, and Sales teams for smooth product development and execution.





· Manage product qualification, testing, technical documentation, and customer approvals.

· Lead and guide the design team, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and continuous improvement in design processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 5–12 years of relevant experience in OFC cable design, development, and manufacturing.

· Strong knowledge of OFC cable constructions, raw materials, design calculations, and manufacturing processes.

· Hands-on experience in product costing, BOM preparation, material optimization, and technical documentation.

· Knowledge of domestic and international cable standards and customer-specific requirements.

· Working knowledge of ERP systems will be an advantage.

· Positive analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in established Optical Fibre Cable manufacturing companies and prior experience managing a design team will be given preference.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
