A pharmacist is a core member of the healthcare team who manages medication therapy, ensures patient safety, and collaborates directly with doctors and nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Review and Verification: Check physician orders to verify proper drug choice, dosage, route of administration, and safety.
- Drug Information and Advisory: Act as an expert resource on drug interactions, side effects, and safe alternatives for physicians, nurses, and patients.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, distribution, and stock levels of all hospital medicines.
- Patient Counseling and Discharge Planning: Review patient drug charts and discharge summaries to ensure secure medication transitions and educate patients on how to use their prescriptions at home.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
