JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Location: Cosmic Heart Institute & Super Speciality Hospital, Gorakhpur

Job Purpose

To maintain accurate financial records, manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure timely financial reporting, and support the hospital in maintaining proper financial control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records, vouchers, ledgers and financial transactions.
- Handle cash, bank transactions, receipts and payments.
- Prepare invoices, bills, payment vouchers and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when required.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist in payroll processing and salary-related accounting.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, banks and other departments.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of financial documents.




- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Perform any other finance/accounting duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.
- Working knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

Performance Expectations

The Accountant is expected to maintain accurate, timely and well-documented financial records and ensure that all accounting activities are performed in accordance with hospital policies and applicable statutory requirements.

- Knowledge of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.
- Previous accounting experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare organization, will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹8,500.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
