Accountability

Receivables Management

- Monitor and manage customer receivables and ageing.

- Publish periodic receivables statements.

- Prepare collection plans and ensure execution.

- Follow up with customers for timely collections.

- Manage collection and accounting of C-Forms, EMDs and other statutory documents.

- Process credit notes, debit notes and sales returns.

- Review Plan vs Actual collections and escalate deviations.

- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Collections Management

- Ensure collection of advance payments as per policy.

- Monitor adherence to PDC and agreed payment terms.

- Handle special payment arrangements for institutional and key account customers.

- Account for collections, liquidated damages (LD), deductions and adjustments.





- Record bank receipts and collections in Oracle.

- Manage LC documentation and negotiations.

- Clear open invoices and apply receipts in Oracle accurately.

Credit / Debit Note & Scheme Management

- Process regular commercial schemes and cash discount claims.

- Account for monthly, quarterly and half-yearly promotional schemes.

- Prepare and process interest debit notes.

- Validate supporting documents before claim settlement.

- Ensure timely accounting and closure of scheme liabilities.

Customer Master Management

- Verify customer onboarding documents.

- Coordinate approvals for current customer creation.

- Create and manage customer masters in Oracle.

- Monitor customer credit limits and credit checks.

- Ensure adherence to customer creation SLA.

MIS & Reporting

- Generate daily outstanding reports.

- Track due date-wise receivable positions.

- Prepare collection and variance reports.

- Generate balance confirmation reports.

- Monitor sales return reports.

- Track unapplied receipts, unidentified receipts and pending adjustments.

- Analyze incomplete AR transactions and coordinate closure.

- Generate Oracle-based reports and provide analytical insights to management.

Responsibilities

 Ensure timely and accurate collections.

 Maintain debtor ageing within approved limits.

 Improve collection efficiency and DSO performance.

 Support audits with required documentation.

 Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Customers for issue resolution.

 Maintain process compliance and documentation.

 Ensure accurate accounting entries in Oracle ERP.

Authorities

 Follow up directly with customers regarding outstanding payments.

 Recommend credit release/blocking based on customer exposure and payment status.

 Verify and recommend customer master creation requests.

 Recommend processing of credit/debit notes as per policy.

 Escalate overdue accounts and collection risks to management.
