Job Description

Wahy Lab Solutions is seeking detail-oriented and analytical candidates for the position of Software Quality Assurance & Test Automation Intern. The role involves evaluating software applications, identifying defects, validating functionality, and ensuring application quality through systematic testing practices. Interns will gain practical exposure to manual testing, test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and automation testing concepts through industry-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse software requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
- Execute manual test cases to validate application functionality and usability.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and compatibility testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure previously working features remain stable.
- Assist in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Conduct API testing and validate application responses and data.
- Support web application testing across different browsers and devices.
- Use bug tracking and test management tools to monitor testing progress.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to investigate and resolve defects.
- Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and quality assurance records.
- Participate in software quality assurance activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Understanding of manual testing techniques and test case design.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, integration,



and usability testing.
- Basic knowledge of bug reporting and defect life cycle management.
- Awareness of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira or other defect tracking tools is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

- Any Degree / Diploma / PG / ITI.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
