Job Summary

We're looking for an IT Administrator to manage and maintain our company's technology systems — networks, servers, hardware, and software — ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely. You'll be the go-to person for resolving IT issues quickly and keeping our infrastructure reliable as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and core systems to ensure maximum uptime
- Respond to and resolve employee IT issues (hardware, software, network, access) promptly
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and email/cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace)
- Administer routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups; manage disaster recovery procedures
- Implement and monitor basic cybersecurity measures (antivirus, firewalls, access control)
- Set up new employee workstations (onboarding) and retrieve/wipe equipment (offboarding)
- Manage software licenses, warranties, and vendor/service provider relationships
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and incident records
- Recommend and evaluate new tools or upgrades as the company's needs evolve

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Solid knowledge of Windows/macOS, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience administering cloud productivity suites (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace)
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
- Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently (you'll likely be the primary or sole IT person)

Nice to Have

- Certifications: CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA
- Basic scripting ability (PowerShell/Bash) for automating routine tasks
- Prior experience supporting a company of similar size

- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical staff
- Patient, service-oriented approach to supporting employees
- Good at prioritizing when multiple issues come in at once
- Reliable and responsive, especially when critical systems go down
