Are you experienced in material planning and looking for an opportunity to take ownership of planning activities in a manufacturing environment?

NRC Group of Industries is looking for a motivated Senior Engineer – Material Planning to join our team in Coimbatore. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores and Design teams, contribute to production efficiency and strengthen your expertise in material planning and inventory management.

What You Will Do

- Plan material requirements based on production schedules and project priorities.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) using engineering drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase and Stores to ensure materials are available on time.
- Work on cutting plans, nesting plans and development drawings in coordination with relevant teams.
- Track purchase orders, material receipts and outsourced components.
- Monitor inventory, identify material shortages and support efficient material utilization.
- Prepare material planning reports and maintain relevant records.
- Coordinate with different departments to support smooth production and timely deliveries.

What We Are Looking For

- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in equipment fabrication or manufacturing.
- Alternatively,



DME with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs and material specifications.
- Experience in material planning, inventory control or production coordination.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and CAD.
- Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to planning and follow-up.
