Your Task

This role focuses on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) management and data quality within T Systems Standard CMDBs. The position involves ensuring proper recording and maintenance of Configuration Items (CIs), establishing process documentation, and providing consultations and training across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Ensure recording of Configuration Items (CIs) in T Systems Standard CMDBs
- Support data maintenance of CI records in T Systems Standard CMDBs
- Set up process steps and create and update Work Instruction (WI) documents
- Ensure mandatory fields are properly considered and maintained
- Establish data quality checks and derive improvement measures
- Manage SNOW ISP service requests improvements, grant approvals for various requests, and perform data correctness checks
- Provide Configuration Management (CFM) consultations to other areas of CMS
- Provide CFM trainings when requested or necessary
- Participate in project audits and workshops
- Interact with engineers and architects when new technology is introduced within CMS infrastructure
- Provide official KPIs advisory, track quality decreases and root causes, plan mitigation strategies, and work towards reaching targets for general improvement of KPIs
- Handle internal KPI reporting, AD reports, SNOW migration, and related activities
- Support colleagues with HP AM CDS and ITSM2 ServiceNow, providing know-how, data exports, reporting, and approvals




- Perform data transformation and validation to manage consistency during database transfer towards ServiceNow

Your Profile

We are looking for a Configuration Management professional with strong expertise in CMDB management, ServiceNow platform, data quality processes, and IT service management tools.

Must Have Skills

- Experience with recording and maintaining Configuration Items (CIs) in T Systems Standard CMDBs
- Experience with data maintenance of CI records in T Systems Standard CMDBs
- Experience setting up process steps and work instruction (WI) document creation and updates
- Knowledge of mandatory fields and data quality considerations
- Ability to establish data quality checks and derive improvement measures
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) ISP service requests, improvements, and approvals
- Experience with data correctness checks
- Ability to provide Configuration Management (CFM) consultations to other areas
- Ability to provide CFM training when requested or necessary
- Experience participating in project audits and workshops
- Ability to interact with engineers and architects when current technology is introduced
- Experience with KPI advisory, tracking quality decreases, root cause analysis, and planning mitigation
- Experience with KPI reporting and general improvement initiatives




- Experience with internal KPI reporting and AD reports
- Experience with ServiceNow migration
- Experience with HP Asset Manager (HP AM), CDS, and ITSM2
- Ability to provide support and know-how to colleagues
- Experience with data exports and reporting
- Experience with data transformation and validation
- Ability to manage consistency during database transfers towards ServiceNow
