Role Objective:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Head who has strong accounting knowledge and prior experience working with a design house, fashion brand, luxury retail brand, or garment/export house.

The person will be responsible for managing the complete accounts function, maintaining financial records, handling vendor and client payments, managing GST/TDS compliance, supporting audits, controlling budgets, and ensuring smooth financial operations for the brand.

Key Responsibility Areas / KRA1. Complete Accounts Management

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, ledgers, reconciliations, invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and financial records.

Ensure all accounts are maintained accurately and updated on a regular basis.

2. Experience in Design House / Fashion Industry

The candidate must have prior experience working with a design house, fashion label, luxury retail brand, garment unit, or export house.

Should understand fashion industry accounting, including fabric purchases, karigar/vendor payments, production costing, boutique sales, online sales, custom orders, alterations, and inventory-related expenses.

3. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, TDS returns, challans, vendor GST checks, E-way bills, and other statutory compliance requirements.

Ensure all tax-related work is completed on time and with accuracy.

4. Vendor & Supplier Payments

Manage payments and reconciliations for vendors, fabric suppliers, embroiderers,



karigars, job workers, logistics partners, consultants, and service providers.

Maintain proper documentation, bills, approvals, and payment records.

5. Client & Sales Accounting

Track client payments, boutique sales, online sales, marketplace sales, advances, pending payments, refunds, credits, and outstanding balances.

Coordinate with the sales and customer teams for payment follow-ups and confirmations.

6. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow

Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, petty cash, credit card statements, UPI/payment gateway settlements, and daily financial records.

Prepare regular cash flow updates for management.

7. Costing & Budget Control

Support management in production costing, order costing, margin tracking, expense control, and budget monitoring.

Identify unnecessary expenses and suggest ways to improve financial control.

8. Payroll & Staff Payments

Manage salary processing, attendance-linked payments, staff advances, reimbursements, incentives, deductions, and related records.

Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.

9. Inventory & Stock Coordination

Coordinate with inventory, production,



and store teams for stock records, purchase entries, material consumption, and cost tracking.

Ensure proper accounting of fabric, trims, finished goods, and production-related expenses.

10. Audit & Documentation

Prepare all required documents for internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and management reviews.

Maintain proper files, bills, vouchers, contracts, payment proofs, invoices, and compliance records.

11. MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare regular financial reports, including sales reports, expense reports, outstanding reports, vendor payment reports, cash flow reports, profit/loss summaries, and monthly MIS.

Share clear and accurate reports with management for decision-making.

12. Team Coordination & Internal Controls

Coordinate with production, sales, CRM, inventory, dispatch, HR, and management teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Implement proper approval systems, expense controls, documentation processes, and financial discipline across the company.

Skills Required

The candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally/Busy/Zoho or relevant accounting software, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, vendor management, payroll, MIS reporting, and financial documentation.

Prior experience in a design house, fashion brand, luxury retail brand, garment unit, or export house is mandatory/preferred. Robust attention to detail, honesty, confidentiality, and accountability are essential.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
