Flax Healthy Living is looking for dedicated and passionate Commis 1, Commis 2, and Commis 3 professionals to join our Bakery & Pastry team at our Central Kitchen. The ideal candidates should have a keen interest in bakery production, pastry preparation, and maintaining high standards of product quality, consistency, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare bakery and pastry products according to standard recipes and production schedules.
- Assist in preparing cakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, pastries, and other desserts.
- Perform ingredient weighing, mixing, baking, finishing, and portioning.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation of ingredients.
- Follow daily production plans and meet dispatch timelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and bakery equipment.
- Follow FSSAI guidelines and company SOPs for food safety.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure efficient utilisation of ingredients.
- Coordinate with senior chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Previous experience in bakery, pastry,



or confectionery operations is preferred.
- A diploma or certification in Bakery & Confectionery will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and bakery equipment.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Central Kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.

Experience Requirements

- Commis 1: Candidates capable of independently handling assigned bakery and pastry production.
- Commis 2: Candidates with practical experience in baking and pastry preparation.
- Commis 3: Entry-level candidates or candidates with basic bakery knowledge who are eager to learn.
