About the Role

SocialSect is looking for a forward-thinking SEO & AI Search Specialist who understands that search is evolving beyond traditional search engine rankings.

We want someone who can help brands become more discoverable across Google Search, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging AI-powered discovery experiences.

This is not a conventional SEO role focused solely on keywords, backlinks, and ranking reports. We are looking for someone who combines technical SEO expertise, content strategy, semantic understanding, experimentation, and AI-powered workflows to build measurable organic visibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute integrated strategies across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-driven search optimization.
- Audit websites for technical SEO issues, crawlability, indexability, site architecture, JavaScript rendering, structured data, and content quality.
- Improve brand discoverability and the likelihood of being referenced in AI-generated answers through credible, useful, well-structured content and robust entity signals.
- Develop content architectures based on search intent, topical authority, semantic relationships, and audience needs.
- Research how Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other discovery platforms retrieve, interpret, and reference information.
- Use Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, schema markup, APIs, automation tools,



and other relevant technologies to identify and implement improvements.
- Experiment with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Python, and n8n to improve research, technical analysis, content workflows, and reporting.
- Establish meaningful measurement frameworks for organic growth, AI referral traffic, brand mentions, citations, qualified leads, and other relevant outcomes.
- Stay informed about Google Search Central guidance, search algorithm developments, AI retrieval systems, and emerging search behavior.
- For healthcare clients, support medically accurate content, local SEO, physician authority, patient-focused search intent, and trust-building signals.

Required Skills

- Strong technical and strategic SEO fundamentals.
- Understanding of AEO, GEO, semantic search, entity optimization, and AI-powered search experiences.
- Experience with structured data, indexing, crawl analysis, search intent, and content architecture.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and modern SEO tools.
- Practical experience using AI tools for research, analysis, experimentation, or workflow automation.
- Strong analytical thinking, research skills,



and the ability to translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Clear communication and the ability to explain technical concepts and strategic decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with healthcare, medical, clinic, physician, or specialist healthcare websites.
- Knowledge of healthcare E-E-A-T considerations, local search, and medically responsible content practices.
- Familiarity with JavaScript SEO, APIs, Python, n8n, or similar automation technologies.
- Demonstrable experiments, case studies, personal projects, technical audits, or research related to AI search visibility.
