About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Artist with strong knowledge of Blender and Unity to develop optimized 3D models, animations, and immersive Virtual Reality (VR) applications. The candidate will work on industrial environments, equipment modeling, process animations, and interactive VR experiences.

The ideal candidate should understand the complete workflow, from 3D modeling and texturing to animation, Unity integration, optimization, and building smooth-performing VR applications for standalone headsets such as Meta Quest.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models of industrial equipment, machinery, plant layouts, and environments using Blender and/or Autodesk Maya.
- Create low-poly and optimized 3D assets suitable for real-time VR applications.
- Develop 3D animations in Blender, including equipment movements, mechanical operations, and industrial process animations.
- Import, configure, and integrate 3D models, materials, and animations into Unity.
- Create and manage animations using Unity's Animation System, Animator Controller, and Timeline.
- Apply realistic textures and materials using Substance 3D Painter or equivalent texturing tools.
- Optimize 3D models, textures, lighting, materials, and scenes to achieve smooth performance in VR.
- Develop interactive VR experiences, including navigation, object interaction, equipment visualization, and guided walkthroughs.
- Build, test, troubleshoot, and optimize Android APKs for standalone VR headsets, especially Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3.
- Identify and resolve performance issues such as low FPS, stuttering, excessive draw calls, and visual artifacts.
- Collaborate with the engineering and animation teams to deliver high-quality, technically accurate 3D visualization projects.

Required Skills

Blender – Must Have

- 3D modeling, UV unwrapping, materials, texturing, animation, simulation
- Keyframe animation, camera animation, and rendering
- Low-poly modeling and mesh optimization

Unity – Mandatory





- Importing and optimizing 3D assets
- Animation, Animator, Timeline, and scene management
- VR development and Android APK builds
- Basic understanding of URP and XR Interaction Toolkit

Autodesk Maya – Preferred

- 3D modeling and animation
- Low-poly modeling and mesh optimization
- Understanding of professional 3D production workflows

Texturing Tools

- Substance 3D Painter or equivalent tools
- PBR materials, UV mapping, texture baking, and texture optimization

Additional Skills Preferred

- Experience with Meta Quest VR headsets and XR development.
- Basic C# scripting knowledge in Unity.
- Knowledge of Blender-to-Unity workflows and animation export.
- Understanding of polygon count, draw calls, texture atlases, LODs, and occlusion culling.
- Ability to create realistic industrial environments and mechanical animations.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: Freshers and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Animation, 3D Design, Game Development, Multimedia, or a related field. Candidates with solid practical skills may also apply.
- Portfolio: Must be able to share 3D modeling, animation, or Unity/VR projects.
- Work Mode: Full-time, work from office in Pune.
- Essential Requirement: Practical knowledge of Blender and Unity. Candidates should be interested in both 3D content creation and technical VR development.
